Big Rig CARB Testing was founded by Chris DeWolf, a certified California CARB tester and former owner-operator with years of over-the-road trucking experience. Working alongside her is her sister, Shelley VandenBerg, also a certified CARB tester and former owner-operator.

Between us, we've spent years behind the wheel, team driving across the country with our husbands, running our own trucks, and experiencing the challenges of life on the road firsthand. We've dealt with inspections, regulations, breakdowns, tight delivery schedules, and the constant pressure that comes with operating a commercial vehicle.

That's why we understand how frustrating it can be when new regulations add another task to an already demanding job.

While we didn't create the California Clean Truck Check program, we know compliance is part of doing business for many drivers and fleets. Our goal isn't to make the process more complicated—it's to make it as simple, convenient, and stress-free as possible.
